Established companies highlighted their latest offerings at GDC 2007.
Ben Farkas, director of sales and marketing at Oddcast, described the
company's conversational character technology, which can help companies sell
their products through animated avatars that can run on web sites as well as
mobile phones that can run multimedia messages.
The New York-based company has been around since 2003 and has worked with
clients such as ESPN, Gillette, and Bratz Dolls.
Site9 also highlighted its web site development software. Don Carter, chief
executive of the Portland, Oregon-based company talked about the ability of
the company's Site9 Launch Platform to prototype and build web sites for
advertisers and customers rapidly.
